Getting to Know You

1. I play softball and have been playing the sport for approximately 12 years.

2. My passion in life is softball. Although I have never played on a travel team competitively, I enjoy playing on a town team for fun.

3. I cannot lie because I feel too guilty but the most ridiculous lie I have ever told was when I broke something and blamed it on my sister.

4. When I write, I find that letting words flow to me works much better than outlining. Ideas come better to me in the moment rather than sitting and organizing my thoughts.

5. My writing experience so far has been decent, writing essays has never been my strong point. I hope to learn how to write a strong essay without struggling.

6. The most recent book I have read entirely was "13 reasons why"

7. I do not write or post on social media too frequently but I check it very often.

8. Most important to me this semester would be developing the ability to compose an essay without struggle.

9. Identity to me is how you express yourself through appearance, writing, social media, or even how you present yourself. I believe everyone's identity should be respected

10. A problem that I feel strongly about is the development of children today versus 20 years ago. Children in middle school are drinking or seeing drug use, have the newest iPhone, and do not socialize anywhere other than social media. Children need to get outside and put the phones down.

11. As a writer, I would label myself as a B. I think I am a decent writer but not great. I try hard to do my best but I think there is definitely room for improvement.
